j9max on Family Tree Circles

Researching the family of John Max (1879-1963) who married Francesca Iskirka in 1901, had one child (name?) and subsequently deserted her in 1906 then divorced in 1912. Went to Gallipoli in WW1 with the Auckland regiment and met Alice Moore in England, marrying her in 1915 and bringing her back to NZ where they had 9 children, including my father-in-law.
John's father is listed in war records and marriage records as being Anthony Max. What was his mothers name? Siblings? I have no details of the previous generation ?Prussian or where they emigrated from. Also would like birth/death dates of anyone in the family.
