HINTE Surname research
I have been researching the HINTE Surname since the mid 1970's. I have extensive contacts with other researchers who are also researching our Surname & considerable data, both from my own research & from that entrusted to me by others.
I am more than willing to share this data with any other HINTE researcher. I can be contacted by email at whinte@internode.on.net.
Cheers, Bill Hinte.
Charles HINTE/Margaret Ekstien.
I have recently found that this field has no consequence to my research. This particular Charles HINTE is from the Oberhausen Branch of the HINTE surname & is not related to the Bremen branch of our surname as far as I can ascertain. It is very interesting that this particular Charles has the same birth month & other close similarities to the Charles that I am researching? It just goes to show How careful one needs to be in making assumptions!
Cheers, Bill HINTE
Charles HINTE , Married Margaret EKSTEIN?
Charles HINTE was Married to Margaret ECKSTEIN in 1895 according to the Federal census of 1900. I can fine NO RECORD IN ANY OF THE DATA BANKS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE NET. I have also paid for searchers with the NY VITAL RECORDS, THE NY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. THE NY CITY DEPARTMENT OF RECORDS & INFORMATION SERVICES. Ancestry.com & The Family Search (LDS)., THEY BOTH LIVED IN kings/Brooklyn BEFORE & AFTER THEIR MARRIAGE.
WHAT AM I MISSING???
Cheers, Bill HINTE.

Greetings.
My name is Bill HINTE, I am co-ordinating research into the HINTE surname, currently there are others researching this surname
Both in the USA & other countries in Europe, particularly in Germany.
My own Family is from Australia of descent from the Bremen HINTE clans. I have considerable data in the form of family trees & other non-connected data from single families.
I am happy to correspond with any other researcher of our Surname & will freely exchange data on the basis that it is not published without recognition of the ownership of the data base. I would also be very pleased to correspond with any Living HINTE Descendent. Translation into/from the German language is not a problem,as one of my good friends assists me in German related research & is a German National.
Good Research to all. Bill HINTE. whinte@internode.on.net
