I've hit a brick wall when it comes to my great grandfather Artemus Shelby Hunter wife Margaret Rebecca McGregor. their children are
John Thomas, Lucindia, Fletcher, Julia Frances, Barbara Ellen, Harriett Belle(my grandmother), Emma Gertrude, Leonard Artemus, Margaret St.Clair. Parents of Artemus was Thomas Hunter, mother was Lucindia Montgomery. Where did the Hunters originate from? any info would be appreciated.
