I am currently in the process of putting together a WILTON family tree but have hit many dead ends. Had Ancestry.com subscription and World subscription but am not finding further information.

Have minimal information back to great grandfather, Charles William Wilton b. 13 Mar 1863, d. 04 Nov 1927 have no other information other than married to Martha Price b. 18 Mar 1858, d. 21 Jan 1900. Supposedly they are the parents of my grandfather Elijah Charles Wilton b. 03 Aug 1883 in W. VA, d. 05 Jan 1962 in Bradford, PA.

Elijah Charles was married to Molly Bell Bess Filler b. 15 Nov 1886 in Petersburg VA, d. 28 Aug 1948 in Bradford, PA, m. 12 Jan 1907 in Rossiter, PA. From this union came 6 children, also another son John Gaston b. 24 Feb 1905, d. 1976, I assume from a man named Gaston. William Theodore Wilton b. 26 Jul 1907 d. 1964 in Bradford, PA. This was my father. Violet Mae Wilton b. 08 Feb 1909 d. 09 Dec 1986. Elizabeth Martha Wilton b. 10 Feb. 1911, d. 25 Sep 1981 in Bradford, PA. Lillian Burnes Wilton b. 06 Apr 1914, d. 1982. Howard Wilton b. 03 Sep 1917, d. 1983. Robert Charles Wilton b. 14 Jan 1920, d. 1980.

I am told that the father of Charles William Wilton was William Wilton, who was married to Jane ? who was recorded to have come to this country from England in 1892 or 1893 a year or so after Charles, but somewhere in this takes a turn it seems a George Whyte is living with or included in this family somehow, he also came over on the ship. The tidbit I found on this was a ships passenger list and have found no records to back this up, seems William Wilton was an army pensioner from Wiltshire, in Nottingham England. But again I have not been able to prove this.
