Hi,

I am looking for information on James Miller Fletcher, born in Scotland, Married Janet Ramsay, daughter of James Ramsay (1802-1895) and Isabella McCulloch (1803-1888). Fletchers were not local to Ayrshire c 1828, so the origins of my 2nd Great Grandfather are a mystery. I beleive that he has a background in some sort of shipping, and belongs to the sub clan of the green tartan.
