Hi:
I am trying to find the parents of Pleasant G.(some say Greenberry) Carson. He was born in North Carolina in about 1813, died in Iowa in 1870. He married Sarah Beeson in Highland Co., Ohio. She was Quaker. Pleasant named his first son Thomas who died around 7, then a son Uriah, a daughter Elizabeth and my gg grandfather Benjamin Rush Carson. The children were all born in Iowa except Thomas who was born in Indiana.
Before Pleasant went to Ohio to marry Sarah he had a land grant in Montgomery Co., Indiana. That's about all I've been able to find out as my grandmother said old things weren't important and what I got is out of the family bible.
