Dennis & Mary nee HAYES brought their 8 children out to NSW on the "Sultana" 19 May 1855 and settled in Orange NSW. I am descended from their 7th child, John Redman DONOGHUE bn 1850, who married Elizabeth FARRELL in 1875. Their eldest son, Patrick bn 1880 came to Wellington NZ abt 1904 and settled in Miramar. He married Florence DENSWORTH bn 1884. My father was one of their 7 children all born in Wellington.

I have found your site through following through on Elizabeth FARRELL, her father Michael and her mother Ellen ARROW.
At last I have found a convict in the family, albeit a stretch sideways to Ellen's infamous brother! What a read!
