How would I find parents names of King Emmanuel Harmon?

King Emmanuel Harmon b 11 Aug 1841 in Ohio. The county in which he was born seems a bit confusing for me.
On some records I have found Muskingum, Union,Noble,& Morgan Counties. So I am a little more than confused.
Could sure use some help. King is my husband's gt grandfather. Here is what I know: King d 19 Dec 1912 in Granton,Oklahoma. He married Mary Ann Selix b 1841 in Ohio. The death certificate states his father's name was John b in PA. at Harmon run, Beaver Co.PA John may be the s/o Conrad Harmon b 1748 d 1823 in Ohio. Conrad s/o Boston Harmon b 1805. The dates could not fit, this, correct me if I'm wrong, but would'nt Conred should of been older than his son Boston? By the death cert. King's parents where John and mom was Mary Kuntz. King served in the 141st Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry of Ohio.He enlisted in Gallipolis, Ohio Sept 3 1864. When he was let go out of the service, they decided to go to Indian Terr. in Okla. That is where they lived until their death.
I have a copy of the death notice of King and Mary Ann's death. The headline on King notice says: JUDGE HARMON
DEAD. this was in the Fairview Major Co., OK.paper. That says: K.E. Harmon of Granton, died at his home Thursday morning at seven o'clock followiing an illness of nine days. He was born in Ohio 71 years ago last June and came to this state 14 yrs. ago. Most of that time he spent near Granton which he helped to build up socially and morally. He left his wife, children and 89 grandchildren and many gt grandchildren.
Hoping this may help other Harmon descendants, and we would love to hear from any of this family and touch base with you. Feel free to contact me.

Where did they come from, what country before coming to the US. What is the family history of this family? They are connected to the Selix family and Harmon family, probably all lived in Ohio in 1800's and before then.

Searching for information of Jane Edwards b about 1825 m to erastus Holdridge

Erastus b 1825 in Herkimer co., New York. The s/o Charles Eldridge Holdridge b 1795 in
New London co., CT. d 1871 in Herkimer co., N.Y. Mother was Isabel Rathbone b 1795 in Herkimer co., NY. Buried in 1829 in Oakview Cemetery, Frankfort, Herkimer co., NY
An aunt of mine had a record on Jane Edwards father as Robert Edwards and his wife as
Lenora no last name.
I would like to find the back ground information of Jane Edwards my gt gt gt gt grandmother.
Thanks to any one who would do some researching for me, very much appreciated.

Who is Content Fish??? Who are her ancestors??

Content Fish b ABT 1774 d 18 Jul 1822 in NY. Married to Joseph Holdridge b ABT 1774 d 23 May 1846 in NY. The only child I have knowledge of was; Charles Eldridge Holdridge b 13 Oct 1795 in New London Co., Connecticut. d 17 Dec 1871 in Herkimer Co., NY. I must be missing something in my thinking as to where and how to go about searching for Content Fish. I have been unable to find anything for her existence. It seems this family of Holdridge spent time in and around Frankfort, Herkimer Co., NY. A possibility is Content born in another country and came to the US at a port in or near NY. Could it of been N/A for the Fish surname? I have exhausted my thoughts on this. Pleading for help. She was my gt gt gt grandmother, I think. Sure appreciate some help, thanking you in advance.

Baker family genealogy~ Do you descend from Samuel L Baker???

According to what I have found in my research, Samuel L Baker b 3 Aug 1803 in Madison Co., KY. d 26 Mar 1874 in Villisca, Montgomery Co., Iowa. Samuel married
Rachel Davidson b 1810 in Indiana. Samuel was s/o George Washington Baker b 29 Mar 1779 in Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co., North Carolina and married Esther Robertson b
11 Dec 1781 in Caldwell, Cabarrus Co., North Carolina.
Their 3rd child was a daughter, Elizabeth Baker, b 17 May 1832 in Morgan Co., Indiana d 1908 in Villisca, Iowa. She married Isaac Newton Poston b 1826 in TN. They had a daughter Martha Poston and she married James William Buckley. Martha &James "Jim" were my gt grandparents. Now I have believed this my whole life, but now after doing some research for Baker Ancestors on Baker forums, I am so confused and doubting I have the right list of people.
Can someone help me find the ancestors before Samuel L Baker? Would appreciate it so much. Thanking you in advance.
