Trying to place David Duncomb, perhaps Duncombe, born 1784 Jamaica died in NSW Australia, and his father David Duncomb(e) 1746-1818 born & died London but spent at least between 1780 & 1815 in Jamaica.


Unable to work out parents even though described 'Esquire' in Jamaican Almanacs for period. His son had patronage of Earl of Bathurst when he came to Australia suggesting connections but cannot confirm them.


Any clues would be useful. Note I am aware of the marriage between Duncombe/Frances Bathurst but cannot link to it.

Esq David Duncomb, b 1746 London, died 1818 London. Spent considerable number of years in Jamaica. Looking for his parents.

He married Eleanor Winter, b 1750 Watchet Somerset. Looking for her parents.

Children:
David Winter Duncomb b 1784 Jamaica d 1848 Ottiwell NSW AUS. He married Mary Ann Wright. They had 11 children born/raised in NSW Australia.

Looking for birth/parents of John Worthington, born Liverpool or Lancashire @1772, died 1847 Toxteth Park Liverpool.

Also Wife Jane Wright (b 1773 Hale), married 1797 St Peter's Liverpool.
