For a friend I am researching his Steers, 3 generations living in Dunedin New Zealand, his great grand father born there1888, dying 22 March 1921, hope you can help me with my seaching, Rick.
I am looking for Richard Silverwood, born 1955 in Leeds, Yorkshire.
He married Margaret Swales in 1980 in Leeds.
They have a daughter Sarah Ann, born in 1981 in Leeds.
Richard's father is Robert Silverwood, married 1948 in Leeds.

She was murdered on July 1922 in Yea, Victoria.
Her murder has remained unsolved.

Looking for John and Ellen Breen, from 1840 to 1876 in Hobart, Tasmania.
I am looking for the parents of William Breen.
He was born 4 Sept 1856 to John and Ellen (nee Fahy) Breen in Hobart, Tasmainia.
William married Mary Anne Nicholls on 24th July 1876 in Hobart.

William Silverwood dies at sea on the way to Australia.
My great grand father William Silverwwod, a school master, with his wife Elizabeth (nee Lewis) and their son William Henry and daughter Eleanor Jane set sail on the ship "the Queen" to Melbourne , Australia in Feb 1853.
Unfortunately, William becomes very ill and dies on board and is buried on 1st April 1853 at Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia.
Now a widow, Elizabeth decides to continue her journey to Melbourne with her 2 young children.
Arriving in Melbourne on 27th April 1853.
Again she is confronted with another tragedy, her 22 month old daughter Eleanor becomes ill and dies in October the same year.
The happy news is that a man she has befriended John Boreland Dobie, both decide to marry in December 1853.
Both settling in Melbourne to start a new life with William Henry.

I am tracing (for a friend) his family tree.
All I know is that his great grand father William Breen was born in Hobart, Tasmania in 1848.
He married Mary Anne Nicholls in Hobart, Tasmania in 1876.
Her parents were convicts: James Nicholls and Margaret (nee Leary)
William and Mary had a son, Walter Leslie born in Hobart in 1881.
Walter married Violet Emily Knott in New Zealand in 1912.
I know most of the family details after that marriage, so I want to know about Walter's father, William.

Looking for Thomas Silverwood of West Derby, Lancashire.
Hello, I am trying to trace the family of my great grand uncle Thomas Silverwood junior, was born 1860 in West Derby, Lancashire.
His father Thomas was born 1829 in Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire, he married Elizabeth Anne Martha Luce in Sept 1857.
All I have is a Thomas Silverwood in 1881 England Cenus, a boarder, living at 41 Enid Street, Toxeth Park, Liverpool, Occupation: Solicitors General Clerk, aged 20 yrs.
I would like to know who and when he married and family details, so I can research more details on his immediate family.

Looking for George Gardiner Whitlow
My great grand father George Gardiner Whitlow, born Dec 1831 Manchester, England.
He came to Victoria, but I have no records of what ship he was on etc.
He married Alice McLachlan in the gold mining town of Walhalla in 1869.
She was born in Hobart, Tasmania in 1849.
She died in Walhalla in 1874.
George then married my great grand mother Theresa Holdsworth Beard in 1876 in Walahalla.
My nan Minnie Theresa Frances (1 of 7 children) was born in 1877 in Walhalla.
I would like to know whether George arrived as a convict in Hobart, Tasmania, where he might have met Alice.

Looking for the family of Dorothy May SHAND./ Walter Roy BREEN.
I am looking for the family history for a friend, Norm Breen.
His mother is Dorothy May Shand, born in 1919 in Brunswick area, Victoria.
Her parents William David and Lily Shand, mostly lived in Brunswick.
She also had a brother William, sister Shirley.
Dorothy married Walter Roy Breen in 1944.
Walter's parents Walter Leslie and Violet Emily Breen lived in Coburg, Victoria.
He was born in Coburg in 1918.
They had 4 children, Alan, Norm, Marilyn and Colin.
Walter died in Healesville in 2004.
Dorothy died also in Healesville in 2007.

Looking for Vincent Michael Cusack of Victoria, Australia.
I am trying to find about the family Vincent Michael Cusack.
He was born 26th Feb 1925 in the family home in the Melbourne suburb of Ascot Vale, Victoria, Australia.
He married Irene Malian McCarthy about 1948 / 1949 in Melbourne.
Vincent died March 2002.
Irene died about 1986.
They had 3 children, Gregory born 1949, Stephen born 1950, Janine about 1954.
Vincent's other brothers and sisters: Carmel. Josephine, Mary, Michael, Lawrence and Patricia.
