Looking for Newmans of Rhode Island

Thomas Newman was born in 1745(place unknown)and died in 1799 in Providence Rhode Island. He married Sarah Paine in Smithfield,Rhode Island in 1766. He was a farmer on land in Lincoln,Rhode Island. He had three sons - Nathaniel,Jeremiah, and William. Nathaniel was born 1767 in Providence and died in 1811 in Providence, and he married(unknown wife) and they had Daniel and Alpha and probable other unknown children all of which migrated to Ohio;Jeremiah was born in 1772 in Providence and died in 1827 probably Providence and he never married;William was born in 1778 in Providence and died in 1828 in Providence and married Mary Ballou in 1804 in Providence, they had three sons - Lyman,Benjamin Ballou, and William.

Thomas Newman was my ggggg grandfather,Nathaniel Newman was my gggg grandfather,Daniel Newman(m Nancy Daniels) was my ggg grandfather,Daniel Newman Jr(m Mary Ann Soule) was my gg grandfather,Charles E Newman(m Esther Hildebran) was my g grandfather,Raymond C Newman(m Loa Mcbride) was my grandfather,Raymond C Newman Jr(m Annette Randall) was my father.

Both Daniel Newmans lived and were buried in Ohio as well as Charles Newman. Raymond C Newman Sr and his wife Loa Mcbride along with their sons moved to Baldwin County Alabama(Fairhope) in 1930. Loa died in 1932 and Raymond C Newman Sr died in 1979 in Baldwin County and was buried in Miami County Ohio. Raymond C Newman Jr died in 1995 and was buried in Baldwin County his wife and my mother still resides in Baldwin County.

According to my lone surviving uncle Edgar Newman of Sarasota,Florida the Newmans were originally from Germany and moved to England before migrating to the USA. They were Quakers and farmers.

I've reached a dead end with Thomas Newman as to where he was born or anything about his wife Sarah Paine. The only thing I know of Nathaniel Newman is he was living in Providence(Smithfield)and moved to Coventry,Rhode Island. He was buried in Providence.

If anyone has any information of this Newman family it would be appreciated if you would share,
