My husband Kent Armstrong's family line goes like this: His Mother: Edna M. Armstrong maiden name Sanders, Grandmother: Allie Sanders maiden name Ray, GGrandmother: Nancy Elizabeth Ray, maiden name Hogge, GGGrandfather: Allie or Aaron Hogge.

We found an Allie Hogge through a letter from Mt. Zion Cemetery that was written to his wife, Ida M. Hogge, who I believe is and his second wife and not Nancy's Elizabeth's mother. I believe this is Kent's GGrandfather. Both Allie and Nancy Hogge were born in Illinois.

I found Allie Hogge in the US Federal Census for 1910 and 1920 one year his name was Allie and the other year it was Andrew.

I do not have any additional information. I have checked the census and other records while I did find where he married Ida M. Stimmett at the Dunkklin County Courthouse in Kennett, MO, I can find nothing else.

It seems that I saw a picture at my mother-in-law house that had John A. Hogge written on the back but here house burned and the pictures with it. My mother said she believe that Allie's first wife was named Julia or Elizabeth Turner.

I did find Allie Hogge's death certificat in the Missouri archives and they list his father as Calvin Hogge and mother as unknown.
