Searching info: John W STAPLETON of Arkansas

What I have so far:
John W Stapleton-born April, 1838-died Oct. 25, 1913. Married Ellen Roberts Feb. 13, 1887 "Ellen" is Clarette Elleter Roberts(second marriage) first marriage was to Mary J. Lance (Lantz)1880 census shows JW Stapleton, Mary J. and children Sarah E.born 1871 AR, John T. born 1874 MO,Mary F (E?)born 1876 MO, Emeline born 1879 MO.
Children with "Ellen" Lulu born 1882 AR, Charlie born 1890 AR, Allie born AR and Richard Jesse born 1895 AR.

John W Stapleton enlisted at Cassville, Mo November 10, 1862, 6th Regiment Cavalry Volunteers, discharged Jan 27, 1865 at Baton Rouge, LA.

John W owned 80 acres in Pigeon Township, Baxter County Arkansas which he farmed and was a blacksmith, possibly a trade learned during his military service.

According to Arkansas Cemetery Association there is no record of a burial in Baxter County for John W Stapleton and the obituary in the Baxter Bulletin states that he was born and did in fact die. I had figured that much since he was born in 1838.

Baxter County Genealogical and Historical Society has no information whatsoever on John W Stapleton.

Mountain Home was not always Mountain Home but was originally Rapp's Barren, Baxter County was not always Baxter County but was originally Marion County. Apparently Arkansas was always Arkansas.

I have no information as to parents names or siblings. Parents were, according to what little information I do have, born in KY.
