Adolph (born 1857) and Phileas were both from Quebec Canada married there and possibly had their first two children in Quebec. They moved to Hancock MI where they had 16 more,children. These children were :Fredrick b.1884,Edward b.1885,Phoebe b.1887,Eugene (?) died in mine accident,Albert b.1893,Margaret b.1896,Laurentia b.1897,Earl b. ,Eldred b.1892,Agnes b.1903,Raymond b.1906,
They worked for the Polk copper mine in Hancock.
