I am trying to find exactly where in Dovedale, Nelson the family of Richard Burnett lived.Richard came out to NZ on the Whitby in 1841 and his wife Sarah followed some months later. Richard was wounded in the Wairau Massacre and was given land in payment. They settled in Dovedale but I would love to know where?
Richard's daughter Agnes Martha married Franz GottliebSchwartfeger,my great grandparents.
