My great grandmother was born in Sheffield in 1880. This was confirmed by a census entry that she was born in Sheffield. Her marriage certificate to GEORGE HARRIS TURNER IN 1905 names her father as
CHARLES CHARLES also from Sheffield.
The only CHARLES CHARLES I can find married Elizabeth and had two sons but does not appear to have had a Daughter.
My grandmother when she was alive told me her Mother was an orphan.
