Is your John O'Grady the son of Malachy O'Grady & Bedelia (Bridget) Hynes? I am related through their 1st child Patrick who married Mary Agnes Glassad (Glassett) and then Annie Henderson.

Hi,
In all the excitement I left a vital bit of info out. As I am new to this genealogy lark I shall put my error down to that! Hopefully I will get better as I go along.
My research threw up a Malachi O'Grady who married a Bridget Hynds. The birth dates I have are Malachi abt 1826 and Bridget abt 1837. They are close enough to the dates you have, so we assume that we both have the same people.
This will make Malachi and Bridget my great-grandparents.
Their son John born 1864/65 is my grandfather.
Their children are as listed.
