Hi, I have some information for you. Although there is much more that goes back into the 1700s. Ellen Ella Catherine Govreau/Govro B: Feb 1867 in Missouri D: 21 December 1903 at home after five days of illness in Bonne Terre, St. Francois, Missouri. She is buried at Little Vine Church Cemetery, Ste Gevevieve County, Missouri. Her dad is Joseph Henry Govreau B: 20 Dec 1829 D: 4 March 1877. Her mom is Cassander VanDiver Gonro B: 1 Feb 1836 D: 5 March 1921.

Ellen married William Mitchell on Feb. 17, 1884 in Missouri. He was born August 1860. They had 9 children Harry Lee, Charles A, Bertha S. Mitchell Gibson, Myrtle May Mitchell Gibson, John F., John Lawrence, Frank Ben, Buford Orville, and Marnie Mitchell.

Ellen's brothers include, James Johnson "Jade" Govro 1872-1937 and Everette Keith Govro 1875-1961 but they are many more siblings. Cassander's father is George W. VanDiver B: 7 Sept 1807 TN D: 2 Oct 1864 buried at Germania Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Missouri. Her mother is Keziah Turley VanDiver B: March 1803 in Kentucky D: 20 November 1877, buried at same place as her husband.
