Seeking contact from the descendants of William/Bill Bennit b.1865 St Leonards NSW to Samuel Smith Bennit and Catherine McFarland/McFarlane. Bill married Elizabeth (Bessie) Stewart and relocated to the East Coolgardie area(now Kalgoorlie)of Western Australia ca.late 1880s, becoming the Publican of the Sun Rise Hotel and the Inland City Hotel. A son named Leslie George Bennit took over as licensee of the Inland City Hotel in East Coolgardie in the 1930s. Bill d.1940, Bessie d.1947.
Bill had two siblings who also relocated to WA. His brother Andrew Jackson Bennit d.1903, a sister named Mrs Kate (aka- Florence and Catherine) Norris d.1905.
