The information I have regarding the HILE (HEIL) family is as follows:-
Antony Heil born late 1700s in a part of Germany which is now in Poland. He had a son William (Wilhelm) born between 1820-1825 who came to Netherbury, Dorset, Emgland, he changed his surname to HILE, he had his own business, he was a builder and coffin maker, he went bankrupt. He got a job as a Bailiff to Lord Camden at Bayham. I don't know who William married but he had 3 Children one of whom is my grandfather; John Richard HILE born c1849 d1874 and was married to Elizabeth Saunders, they had 8 children, Ellen 1876, Elizabeth 187, Ada 1880, Richard 1882, Arthur 1884, (Emma 1888, my Grandmother) William 1890, Alice 1894. I would really be grateful if any one has any think that could validate any of the facts about Antony or William.
