If one cannot reply with helpful, researched answers that actually give the poster some enlightning information on their original query then best not to answer at all. Leave it to those who can

I have searched for the Indian that my husband has through his great grandfather. I did know the tribe, it is Choctaw. Their nation is in Durant, Oklahoma. I looked it up on the internet, got the phone number and called them to ask questions. They were very kind to help me.
they have a Dawes Rolls, where this lists the members names and their cards showing their membership number, % of blood etc. Now if you go to other web sites and put in American Indian forum you will most likely find information for all other tribes. Not sure if this site has Indian information. If you know the tribe, say for example Cherokee
I would suggest you google in Cherokee nation. I think it is now in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Hope this helps you, feel free to email me here and ask questions.
Good luck
Maxine

There are actual family trees in books by Emmett Starr for Cherokees. You can find information online regarding them.

Thank you Maxine06 and Monticollie. Subscribers came through again! Be patient and wait. They usually come through with valuable researched information. Thanks. My great grandmother (As told to me by my grandmother and my observing her photo portrait) seemingly had an average blood content. I was wondering where to look. You both have kindly given it. I have info to work with. Thank you.
