Hi. I read your entry about Eliza, who married Joseph Moore. I may be able to shed a little light on some members of this family. John (born 1887), I understand, left home at a young age, and ended up farming in Dalwallinu (Western Australia). I think his descendants are still farming there today. Sarah (born 1897) never married, and looked after her parents. After that, she lived with Uncle Fred (he never married either.)

thank you very much for the info kit, much appreciated
I thought for a minute that Joseph may have had something to do with the naming of the Moore river, the headwaters lying in the Perenjori, Carnamah and Dalwallinu Shires but I see it was originally named the Garban then changed to River Moore in May 1836 by Corporal Patrick Heffron of the 63rd Regiment of Foot, who named it after his expedition leader George Fletcher Moore, Advocate-General

Hi there
Yes, Susannah did have several children from her first marriage to Philip Price. I am a descendant of her daughter, Susannah Annie Elizabeth Price (6 children, but only one line continuing). The others were Mary Eliza Price (unmarried), John Henry Price (1 son who died childless), and William Alfred Price who married his cousin Mary Butterfield (as you note above), but had no children, as she died in 1917. He is buried with his mother at West Melton. She is buried with her mother, in Linwood. Philip Francis (Frank) Price Jnr, the blacksmith you mention, had an adopted daughter who has living descendants
Cheers
