According to the 1881 census Iknac Veyenstek was Jacob Janda's brother in law which would suggest Maria Bastyr was previously married or Maria's mother remarried between having maria and Iknac.
Also according to the 1880 census Jacob was a stonecutter. This looks like his entery into the USA. According to the passenger list he arrived alone.

Thank you, I have Jacob Janda coming in 1869, and where he was till his death. 1869-1886. But nothing before 1869 in Bohemia.
No known siblings? His father abt 1825 was supposed to of been here in the USA.
I have all his children's names. Maria Bastyr I know that they got married in Lawrenceville. 1873. In the 1880 census I found them under LANDA. Only son Joseph Martin was living then. 1875-1920. We felt that the Ignac was a brother-in-law but possibly married to a sister. But find nothing on that either.
