I am researching my DICKINS family in Australia, and also any other family with the same name, or DICKENS, in the hope of finding relatives.
My family emigrated to Geelong in Victoria in 1853 and ran a family foundry business there for some years. Examples of the DICKINS foundry product can still be seen around Geelong.
One of my Dad's cousins was S E Dickins, the grocer in Victoria. Today the descendants are dispersed and I would be delighted to make contact with anybody named Dickins to see if we are related, and to swap family stories.
