I am currently researching to expand my family tree here is the info I have so far.
My great X3 grandfather Patrick McKegney born 1841 died 25 March 1906 married Anne McCann no birth date but died 9 march 1906
First born John Patrick McKegney 15 jan 1869 died 14 May 1932 married Harriet Ann Corkey born 1 Feb 1872 in Chaffeys Locks, ON Canada died 12 Mar 1952
I am looking for more info on my family that is in Ireland as my parents will be visiting there this summer.

I am a descendant of Bridget McKegney (Kaigney/Keagney) who I believe was a first cousin (possibly sister) of a Patrick McKegney, They lived in Ardnaglass (Crosskeys) , Co. Antrim.
Bridget's father was David McK and I took the following information from the Baptism registers of Moneyglass church
Baptised Parents Sponsors
1838, 26 Aug Susan McKeagney McKeagney & wifeMiss Scullin Mr McQuillin
1840, Apr Patrick McKegney John & Mary Thomas Duffin Mary Duffin
1844, 9 Jan Patrick McKeagney David & Mary Mark DevlinBridget McErlain
Griffiths Valuation would indicate that David and John McK had land holdings side by side.
I believe that Patrick emigrated to Canada.
I would be interested in exchanging further information.
