thanks. This would be the right person as she lived and died in Carnegie.
The names Roy and Elsie I am familiar with but not Henry.

There are other children, William, Lorna,Eugene,Alfred, Thelma (my mother)
I have also heard of the name Ridgway as being relevant but not how.

{b]The Argus Saturday 25 March 1933
FUNERAL
CONQUEST.— The Friends of the late Mr. ALFRED CONQUEST are respectfully notified
that his funeral will leave the eastern end of No. 10 platform, Flinders street (per mortuary train), THIS DAY (Saturday), at 1.40, for the Necropolis, Springvale, arriving at or about 2.15 pm
This story below is off topic but the boy's name made me smile and you never know Norman Conquest just may be related.
Bendigo Advertiser, Monday 31 March 1913
JOHN MURRAY ABSCONDERS

On Friday Norman Conquest and Alfred
James Dyhall, each aged 14 years, who had
absconded from the training ship John
Murray, were lodged at the Gordon Institute
by the Prahran police. Early this morn-
ing the lads made their escape from the
institution by climbing a fence, and are
now being caught by the police. Conquest
got away clad only in his pyjamas, while
his companion had on only a pair of knic-
kerbockers and a coat.
