Looking for death of Jane Sim and George Sim grave

Query by kerrynk

Jane Sim Nee Johnston was born 1845 in Peterhead, she married George Sim in 1865 in Peterhead. The family moved to South shields sometime before the 1871 census and then onto West Derby area. Jane was living with 3 of her children in the 1911 census at 21 Mitylene St, Kirkdale. Her husband George Sim died sometime before the 1901 census as she says she is a widow in 1901.
I have been searching for Janes death and her burial but haven't come up with any good posibilites it may have been transcribed wrong, I don't know.
I found a death for George we "think" may be correct. George Sim,born Aberdeenshire 1939, and died in Tynemouth in 1898 or maybe at sea as he was a ships carpenter. But I don't know if he was buried at sea if he did die there. I would assume he would be buried near the family???

Any help would be great

Thanks Kerryn

thank you so much for your help. From what I am told it isn't worth getting the death certificate as it doesn't tell anything. Is this what you think also? it is just here in Australia the death cert tells everything

Thanks heaps
Kerryn

This gives you an idea of what is on the death cert:

They married on 30 June 1864 at Peterhead after Banns according to the forms of the Wesleyan Church. George Simm, a Ship's Carpenter aged 24 years of Peterhead. His father john Sim a Fisherman and his mother Jean Sim maiden surname Sim were both still alive. Jane Johnston aged 19 years of Burnhaven, Peterhead. Her father William Johnston a Gardener and her mother Catherine Johnston maiden surname Yule were both still alive. The witnesses were were William Sim and Wm. Johnston.

Just as an aside I have never been able to find the death of Jane Sim nee Johnston, Geoges wife so the both of them are very frustrating

I have ordered the death certificate for George Sim death Tynemouth 1898. I have confirmed that the death at sea for George Sim is not my ggfather. I will let you know the outcome when I get the death cert
Thanks everyone
Kerryn
