Alexander Joseph McAlpine - Caulfield Memorial Stone

Journal by locow

one of the names on the Honour Roll Boards and the Caulfield Memorial Stone is A H McAlpine and looking at your site I see the below information – I however don’t arrive at the same person as on the Avenue of Honour they have his number as 11315 – after lots of looking I have found [Victorian birth records gives his name as Alexander Hugh] his parents were living in Caulfield – Alexander joined the New Zealand Army and was killed in France in 1916.
