My Great Grandmother was Elizabeth BERCRY Gowan. Her Father died at sea, when he and his wife and five daughters were coming to Canada. Two of the daughters settled in Detroit, Michigan, one being my grandmother, Alice Mary Gowan Schwarz. The other three lived in the Chicago area, one of whom was Annie Bercry McMann.

I know that I have two male cousins in the Chicago area who carry BERCRY as a middle name. If you have any information about persons with this family history, I would appreciate hearing from you.
