My gggrandfather was William Madden he was born 1815 West Port County Mayo Ireland , he married Charlotte, what I want to know is who was his father and his etc as I am going to Ireland this year and am trying to go back as far as I can , he also was a butcher when he grew up in Liverpool he then moved to Australia , Charlotte moved on and married someone else , legally is doubtful and had more children but I am following the direct line of males from my father back , so any help would be grateful , where do I go from here and can I get in touch with someone in West Port ????
