Do you know anything about Praters in Kentucky? I have a Sarah Prater b- 1802 to 1806 in Russell County, VA. She married a Jordan and later in 1853, married Amos Bays Sr. b-1803 VA. She had 3 children and her husband, Amos Bays died in 1858. She is on the 1860 Census but I do not find her children, Henry Bayes and Amanda J. Bayes nor she, herself thereafter. Only Amos Bays Jr. who is my direct line shows up later.
