Like who was Thomas Rolfe's parents, siblings, wife, children, and where were they born in Suffolk ? Middle names are useful if you have them.
Have you any idea who went to U.S and Canada and what year(s) approx they may have gone.
Annabelle1958 on 2015-03-20 15:37:16Hi, Thomas Cappur Rolfe (1887) was my Great,Great uncle. He emigrated to Canada in 1910. He was the son of Samual Gardiner Rolfe (1851)Great Barton, Suffolk, England. and Mary Ann Gardner, Hanmer, Flintshire Wales U.K. They had 7 children, William G (1879), Mary Emma(1881)Ernest Albert (1882), Lily (1883), Samual Gardiner(1886), Henry My grandfather (1892).Samual Gardiner Senior's parents were William Rolfe and Emma Sore 1820.William was the son of John Rolfe (1768) and Ann Bell Marlton (1772) who had nine children- married Dec 1st 1794. The children were:- Ann,John,Martha,Robert,Mary,Miriam,Henry,William and Charles.Some of their Grandchildren emigrated to Australia and Newzealand. John Rolfe was the son of Henry (1737)and Elizabeth (Garland)(1738)From Hereford, Norfolk, England.
Thomas Cappur Rolfe(1887), Who emigrated to Canada Married Blanch Closson (1899).A family member is researching this line but any information is most welcome.
