My Gt Grandfather was Charles Mansfield who married Letitia E. East in 1877 at Old Street. Charles
(b. 1854) was a son of William and Frances Catherine Smith. There appear to be at least two
branches of the Mansfields in Newington, Lambeth, Southwark and Camberwell between
about 1800 and 1914 and I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has
managed to link these families. One other branch descend from William Mansfield
and Angelina Smith - some of those descendants I gather moved to New Zealand
and Australia.
