Jesse Huffman was my GGGrandfather. He was born 1820? in Stokes County , North Carolina. I believe his father was Philip b.1780 m. Elsabeth Snider 1805. The family migrated to Des Moines County, Iowa around 1836.They were in the 1850 census.Jesse married Margert Hartman 1848.
