Last May, I started with existing family resources and quickly peopled my tree with about 80 relatives. Then I
started taking advantage of other people's research. My husband's lineage soon landed on Virginia Burgesses
and British nobility, after which the search was easy. (I learned that rich people kept VERY GOOD records.

My mother's family has several people that have done enormous amounts of research.
I communicated with the owner of one such family tree site in December and she verified
we are first cousins seven times removed. Not so lucky with my dad's family. Both lines of his family
stop in dead-ends in the early 1800's. I have exhausted all but one avenue of research on the
names listed in my title. I am waiting for a death certificate from San Francisco for the only one for
Which I have a death date and place. I don't expect to learn much, since I already know her maiden name.
Most came from Ireland, some from County Cavan (but I don't know the city). One came from England....that
doesn't help a lot. (Nope, poor folks didn't document much...)

Here's the dilemma: I have no more first/last names and places to compare to. If you know of Lambert's or
Stevens that were in San Francisco between 1850 and 1937, or in Barstow, CA between 1885 and 1911, or
Bakersfield beginning in 1911, give me a shout. Also, the Currans lived in Michigan City, Indiana in the 1800's,
then in Barstow until about 1911 or so, so let me know if that rings a bell.
