Aver or Avery

My great grandmother died at Back Creek, Minmi, NSW, Australia in 1901. Her death certificate gave her name as Jane Williams married to James Williams at Liskeard, Cornwall aged 17. Her mother's maiden name was given as Elizabeth Avery. Her father's name was not known to the informant, her son Thomas.

Searched for a marriage certificate for James Williams and found: James Williams 19 married Jane Angove 18 in 1858 at Liskeard, Cornwall, she was noted as the daughter of James Angove a lead miner, deceased. Still no mother's name!!

Recently I found the on line Parish Clerk Records and have found a marriage record for James Angove & Elizabeth Aver 1835 at Kenwyn, Cornwall. Also received the same marriage information from Wendy Angove a well known researcher into the Angove surname.

Found Some of My Aver Family

I have been researching "Aver" in Cornwall for a number of years now. I had very little sucess until I found "Online Parish Clerk Cornwall".
There are births, deaths & marriages available from this site.
My g g grandmother was Elizabeth Aver, she married James Angove 18 March 1835 in Kenwyn, Cornwall. I found their marriage but still have not found their births or her death. Though I have found most of Jane's immediate family her parents marriage and their deaths, plus the births of five of her sibblings and the marriages of six out of the seven of them.

Hanify from Galway

I have been searching for some years now for the birth of John Hanify supposedly born abt 1858 Loughrae, Galway, Ireland. He married Ellen Sheridan on 6 September 1883 at Loughrae. Ellen was possibly born 1862 at Kitullagh, Booken, Galway.

Their first known child, Catherine, was born and died in March 1885 in Queensland, Australia, so they came to Australia between those two dates. There were 5 children all born in Queensland but 2 of them died as infants, I can't find anything on the third child and two daughters survived and married.

Mary Ann b 1886 married Thomas Nangle 1903 in Roma Queensland.

Would love any help to find the name of the ship and their date of arrival.

Thomas Nangle, Dublin

I have been searching for Thomas Nangle b abt 1790 Dublin for many years. Most of his children were baptised at St Pauls, Aaron Quay, Dublin.

His eldest son, George came to Victoria, Australia prior to 1853 when Thomas' wife Martha Nolan and all but one other child also arrived in Melbourne. I would not have known about the other child, a daughter, had she not been mentioned on her mother's death certificate.

I have been unable to find anything definite about Thomas' birth, marriage or death though I have possibilities. The very sad thing is that a couple of researchers that I gave this information to have put it on the internet as fact and there is really no ptoof just maybe!!
