Isabella Park born 14 Nov. 1840, Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland, d 28 Feb 1913 Auckland, New Zealand. Isabella Park, brother William Park and Mother Elizabeth McIntyre Park arrived at Port Chalmers October 1860 on board the immigrant ship Silistria.

Isabella Park married James Smith in 1862,Dunedin. They had six children, James Park Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Ann Mollison Smith, Isabella Smith and the next two babies died soon after birth.

Isabella's brother, Gavin McIntyre Park, arrived in Port Chalmers 1848 on the Philip Laing is my 3rd great grandfather.

I am trying to trace the descendants of her children.Clara Hannah Hutton and Robert Stewart Park had four children between 1872 to 1877. The first child was Beatrice Lucy Jane Park. Clara traveled to Australia and gave birth to Beatrice b 1872 in Williamstown, Melbourne, Australia. I AM TRYING TO FIND THE SHIP CLARA TRAVELLED ON. Soon after Clara gave birth, Clara came back to New Zealand with Beatrice and went on to have three more children with Robert.The children are:- Gavin McIntyre Park b 1874 (he drowned in a boating accident 16 years later), Charlotte Eliza Park b 1875, Grace Jane Park b 1877. Clara Hannah Hutton left Robert and the children and married Charles William Hurley in 1880. They had a daughter Margaret Hurley b 1881. Charles died in 1883 and Margaret Hurley lived with Charles's parents John Hurley and Margaret Woods Hurley.Then Clara went back to Robert and they got married in 1883. Clara and Robert had two children with the Park surname and Clara had two more children using the Hurley name. They are:-Irene Norma Park b1885, Muriel Anita Morrison Park b 1887, Reginald Victor Hurley b1890, Jack Aubrey Hurley b1893. I have some photos of the first four children.

Grace Jane Park born 1877 in Kumara, Westland, New Zealand and married George Arthur 17 July 1902. They had five children, their names are Keith Douglas Arthur b1903, Gavin Alexander Arthur b1904, Nettie Arthur b1906, Dorothy Jean Arthur b1910, Gregory Stuart Arthur b1915. Grace Jane Park is the granddaughter of my 3rd great grandparents Gavin McIntyre Park and Grace Jane Stobie Park. I would like to know more about Grace's family and her descendants. Margaret Hurley was born 4 March 1881,her parents were Clara Hannah Hutton Hurley and Charles Hurley.When Charles Hurley died in February 1883, Margaret Hurley lived with her grandparents John Hurley and Margaret Woods Hurley. Margaret Hurley married Ralph Thompson in 1903. I would love to know if they had any children and if so, what are their names? Margaret Hurley is my Stepdaughter to my 2nd great grand uncle.If anyone has information to please contact me.flight3@xtra.co.nz

I am looking for three of Matthew Park's children.They are Elizabeth Park, Robert Park and John Park. They stayed in Scotland and their mother Elizabeth McIntyre Park and the other children immigrated to New Zealand at different times between 1848 and 1860 arriving in Port Chalmers, Dunedin. I would like to have closure on Matthew and Elizabeth Park family, so if anyone has any information regarding Elizabeth, Robert and John, please let me know.
