My Grandma was Nellie Cooper (married Stapleton). Her middle initial may have been C. Her father was Benjiman F Cooper and mother was Elizabeth Ann Smith. (The 1880 Census shows Ben's mother & father having been born in Delaware also.) The 2 of them married in Iowa 12/14/1869. Benjiman was born 2/21/1827 in Delaware per census and Elizabeth 8/18/1847 possibly in Iowa. They spent time in MO, KS, TX and had 8 children over those years and moves: Miranda Ann 10/29/1870 KS ( I found her and she married George B. McClellan Tripp having 7 kids); Frank B. Cooper 8/8/1872 KS, D.Addison Cooper 3/22/1875 TX, Peter James Cooper 12/23/1878, Nellie, my grandma, born 2/19/1880 in MO, Mary Stella Cooper 3/4/1883 MO, Thomas 9/3/1886 Indian Territory and William F. 1/15/1889 Indian Territory.

Benjamin born about 1827 in Delaware. Married Elizabeth Ann Smith in 1869. Another wife 1st? Died about 1898. Think buried in KS. Need info on his parents
