Searching for SANDERS again!

Now the new search begins. My ggggrandfather was William Aaron SANDERS. The parents I had listed for him were totally wrong, proven by DNA info. Sooo, the search begins for his actual parents. There were 4 brothers:

William Aaron SANDERS
Isaac SANDERS
Moses SANDERS
Francis SANDERS

William Aaron SANDERS was my ggggrandfather. He was born in 1735 in Virginia. He married Joanna (or Joan) BAILEY. One of their sons was Nimrod SANDERS. He married Mary Elizabeth RICKETTS. Their son, Harris SANDERS, married Emaline CRUMP. Their son, Thomas Jefferson SANDERS, married Eula Inez GUYTON. They had a daughter (and many other children!) named Maxie Lorraine SANDERS, who married Robert GUINTY. These were my parents, and this is only a small part of my family tree. Hoping to find the ancestors of William Aaron.

Snodgrass civil war records

Monroe Snodgrass was my gggrandfather on my father's side. He married Margaret Davis and they had Andrew Sherman Snodgrass and Annie Snodgrass. Margaret died only 4 years after Andrew Sherman was born. Andrew Sherman married Sarah Elizabeth Piper, and had Maude Belle Snodgrass. She was my grandmother. Monroe served in the Union Army in the Civil War in the Infantry, Cocke's Regiment, in Kansas.

Anna Snodgrass 22-F-VA prostitute-not my family, just found it amusing!

This is what I have found so far on the Snodgrass family line. Josiah Snodgrass married Margaret Holsapple. Their son Monroe married first Margaret (Mary Jane) Davis, with consent of a guardian because she was under 18 (who was Henry S. Baldwin? A stepfather?). She died abt 5 or 6 years later after giving birth to a son, Andrew Sherman Snodgrass. He married Elizabeth Piper (Widow Haggar) and they had Maude Belle Snodgrass. Still trying to find both the families of Lizzie Piper and Margaret Davis.

SNODGRASS society :(

I emailed the Snodgrass Society and got a very cold, abrupt response. I'm very disappointed in their attitude towards family researchers. I don't know how they get members with an attitude like that! So, in response, thankyou, Mr Snodgrass, for all your help.

snodgrass-MaudeBelle SNODGRASS

This is the name of my paternal grandmother. Her parents were Andrew Sherman SNODGRASS and Sarah Elizabeth PIPER. Just starting on this line, looking for more.

Snodgrass/Davis info

Mary Margaret Jane DAVIS married Monroe Snodgrass in 27 Feb 1873. She had two children, a daughter and Andrew Sherman Snodgrass. She died in 1877. Monroe Snodgrass remarried in 1879 or 1880 to Anna Waltman. I still have not found Mary's family:(

Snodgrass/Davis marriage

She was listed as Margaret Davis, she married Monroe Snodgrass in 1873 in Illinois. She was born 1856, died 1877. That means she married at 17, died at 21. I still don't know how she died (maybe in childbirth) or who her parents were.
