I have just published a historical fiction book on the early history of the Morden Family called "The Morden Saga - Loyalty and Perseverance in the British Colonies covering the period 1743 - 1790.

The family travelled from England to Philadelphia to NY State to Canada. This period covers the American Revolution and the impact on the population who took sides as either Loyalists supporting the King of England or Patriots supporting independence from England. The book follows the life of Lorania Morden, a Loyalist, who fled New York with her family of six children and walked overland to Montreal, eventually settling in Prince Edward County in Ontario.
