I am trying to gather information on Elihu Griffith(married Edna Sophrona Brister) and his family who lived in Lawrence Co., Mississippi. Elihu,s Daughter Mary married George M Hughes of Smith Co., MS and when Mary died George married her sister Rhoda and moved their family to Louisiana. George and Rhoda were my Mother In-Laws Grand Parents. My husband and I find it difficult to gather information on his family in the states while we live in Australia. Any information regarding these families would be wonderful.

Seeking any information on Matilda Washington b.Abt. 1800 in Barnwell Co.,SC. who Married Oliver Herrin Griffith. Matilda and Oliver were my husbands ggg grandparents. There were possibly two uncles an Abraham and James. I would like to know the names of her parents, g-parents etc and any siblings. Any information would be appreciated.

I would like to connect with people related to Ebenezer Verner who married Elizabeth Stephenson. I know of seven children William, Early, De Witt, Lois, Elizabeth Emma(Lizzy) who married Walter Hughes, Anna and James all born in Mississippi. Ebenezer's parents were Caleb Verner and Jane O. Hill were both born in South Carolina I have more information to share and need help to fill in some gaps.

I would like to hear from anyone linked to William Joseph Eldridge born Randolph Co.Arkansas 1845, married Angeline Walker in Louisiana.Their son John Thomas married Cora Kelly.William's father was Ransom Eldridge born Abt. 1816 in Tennessee and his father Sampson b. abt 1782 N.C d. Arkansas. I have more info to share and hopefully can fill in the gaps.

Need help identifying this photo. It was taken some time between 1880 and 1890 the women are from the Mcloughlin and Wright family but so far are unable to completely identify them or where picture was taken.

I am looking for connections to Ransom Eldridge and kin who lived in Arkansas C.1850. Ransom's father was Sampson who resided in Overton Tennessee. I believe Ransom may have been killed during the Civil war, his son William Joseph b.1845? Randolph County Arkansas

I am looking for any information on Elizabeth White born 11 Oct. 1835, Georgia. Elizabeth married William Kelly on 19 Mar. 1853 in Henry Co. Georgia, there they had 2 boys, Leroy and James. They moved their young family to Louisiana around 1859 where they settled in Winn Parish.I would like to share information and I sure would appreciate hearing from any one with more information on the White or Kelly families in Georgia or Louisiana.

I have traced my GGG Grandmother Catherine Gaffney back County Cavan in Ireland. Catherine arrived with her sister Bridget in NSW 1849 on the ship "Digby". Theses girls were "potato famine orphans" and were part of the assistant imigrant scheme. Some of these girls stayed at the Hyde Park Barracks in Sydney, where there is now a memorial to honour the Irish famine orpahans.I would love to find information about what these girls did soon after their arrival until the time of their marriage.Catherine married Felix Mcloughlin. Fortunately the shipping records gave a lot of information and the girls parents were James Gaffney and (Bessy)Elizabeth Murphy from Butlers Bridge,County Cavan,Ireland. I have started research on my Carr line in Australia begins with my GGG Grandfather Vince abt. 1830. Vince was born 18 Sep 1803, Maresfield, Sussex, England and was the son of Vince Carr and Mary Taylor. Vince Married Sarah Sweetnam/Sweetman. I would like to get in contact with anyone else researching these lines.
