James Golding/Sarah Bonner

Does anyone have ay information about the following ages, birth dates, and places of birth? James Golding married Sarah Bonner in Buckingham April 1845 and promptly caught the ship 'General Victoria' to New York finally settling in Lake County, Illinois. However,I cannot find any verifiable information before the 1845 date. In the 1841 Census I have found a James Golding and Sarah Bonner living in, what I assume is, a guest house in Buckingham called the Cow Lair. But their ages (approx. 20) and dates of birth (approx. 1821) do not coincide with their births and dates found on the 1870 United States Federal Census. Does anyone have any information regarding the Golding's and Bonner's before 1845?

Scott

I am researching the Scott's in Bishopwearmouth, Sunderland, and in Earsdon, North Shields, Northumberland. I have a copy of my family tree back to the late 1600's in Northumberland and I am trying to connect it it to my family in Sunderland. Unhappily, there is little information on the websites that I have examined. I cannot visit the parish churches etc. because I am now living in San Diego, California.

So let's take it one step at a time... Can anyone help me find more information about a William Scott born about 1739 in Bishopwearmouth? Possible wife Jane. Child William Scott (b. 1781) and Jane Davison (b. 1783) from Rothbury (documented).
