I?m researching John Williamson born: Aug 26, 1763, in Boston, Suffolk Cnty., Mass.Bay Colony. I only have family information on John. I would appreciate any help offered.

~1765 (John age 2) Soon after John's birth, the family moved to Wiscasset, Maine

Before 1802, John marries Olive Wilson Williamson (born abt 1780 Hallowell or Starks, Maine, died ?). John married (unknown) after Olive died.
Children of John & Olive: Nelson 1802-1892 (oldest child, left home at 14; Nelson is my great great grandfather); William b: 1811; Enoch b:1819 ; Julia ; Amanda
~1808 lived in Louisville, Kentucky - The John Williamson family was sent to the Northwest, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky & Tennessee to administer religious precepts. They finally settled in Louisville, KY. John?s occupation: Methodist Minister.

~1825 John Williamson moved to North Bend, Ohio, where he had a farm.

It is said that our family originated in Dumfries, Scotland, and that Sir Arthur Williamson came over with the Massachusetts Bay Colony. (I?ve been unable to find out anything about a Sir Arthur Williamson.)
