Samuel Fitzhenry baptism

Samuel Fitz Henry was born about 1799 in the South of Ireland. Possibly in the vicinity of Waterford or Wexford.
I would appreciate any help finding his birth/baptism and parents. Samuel married Mary Ann Banks (1806-1883) on the 1 Nov 1832 in the Church of Ireland Church, Athy, Co. Carlow. The couple had 8 children; the eldest named Robert Fitz Henry, born in Londonderry. (1836-1914) His profession is shown as a Wesleyan Minister, Draper & Farmer, in Co. Kilkenny.
Our Samuel was an Auctioneer and Valuator as well as a Furniture Maker with a warehouse at No. 36 Kings Street, Dublin. He died aged 64, while conducting an auction on behalf of the owner a Mrs. Alcock on the 24 October 1864 at Richmond House, Cappoquin, Co. Waterford. Samuel and a very large gathering of the public attending that part of the auction crashed to the lower floor when the balcony they were all on collapsed under them. Samuel died on the 28th from the shock and pain of a severely shattered leg which had been amputated. His body was taken to their home at No. 4 Little George Street, Waterford, from where he was buried at the Protestant Cemetery, St. Johns Hill, Waterford.
Thanks, Mel

Who is George Thomas Augustus FARRELL?

I have a solid brick wall with George Thomas Augustus FARRELL. I don?t know when he was born but he was ?of age? when he married Elizabeth KAY on 25 Feb. 1870 in Kingwilliamstown, Eastern Cape, SA when she was 23 years old. His marriage certificate says he was a storeman.
Elizabeth and her twin sister, Agnes were the daughters of Peter and Cecilia KAY of Kingwilliamstown and Fort Beaufort. Their younger brother, John was born in Athlone, Dublin so they were probably born in Ireland too although I haven?t been able to find out where. The next 4 children were all born in the Eastern Cape.
Mary Ann (1856-1884) married William HENRY; Edward Arthur (1857); Cecelia (1859); Peter (1862).
Elizabeth died on the 15 April 1883 and according to the inventory their house and goods did not cover the cost of their expenses. George applied for a mortgage which he eventually paid back but the 4 children were sent to live with Aunt Agnes Selina KAY who was married to Michael KELLY, a shoemaker, who had 7 children of their own.
Cecil John; William Cecil (1868); James Henry (1870); Thomas Patrick (1872); Cecilia (1874); Edward Arthur (1876); Catherine Mary (1878).
George T A FARRELL went on to marry Emily POPE, born PITTAWAY. He was a shop assistant and she was the Proprietor of the Victoria Hotel, Alice, Eastern Cape. The hotel had been left to her by her late husband, Charles POPE. George and Emily had a daughter, Gertrude Jane FARRELL who married a Mr SCHEIDEL. By Feb 1896 Emily had to apply for a mortgage and was described as a widow. She died in the mental hospital, Grahamstown in 1916. I can?t find any record of the death of George Thomas A FARRELL. I would also very much like to find the family of Gertrude Jane SCHEIDEL.

William Power HUNT of SA.

One of my brick walls is tracing William Power HUNT and his wife Charlotte S. Hunt. William was born in Limerick, Ireland on 9 Oct 1871 to Edward Langley HUNT and Annie Bridget Catherine DILLON. He was not on the 1901 census nor did he attend their funerals in 1911 and 1912.
On 22 June 1937 William and Charlotte sailed into Southampton from New York City and stated that their permanent home was South Africa and that he was retired. They returned to South Africa on the Watussi on the 2 Sept 1937.
That unfortunately is all I know about them. I have looked in all the SA Naairs bases for their death notices but they are not listed and I can?t think how else I could find out anything about their lives, deaths or occupation in South Africa. Any help or information would be much appreciated.
William P Hunt had a brother; Edward Dillon Hunt, died 1927 and
a sister - Annie Henrietta who married Wilfred Bennett Davidson-Houston (1870-1960) on the 23 Nov 1898 in Ireland. They had a son Wilfred Edmond born in 1901

Samuel FITZHENRY needs some parents.

I am trying to find the parents of Samuel Fitzhenry who was born about 1799 in Little George St., Waterford. He became an auctioneer and furniture maker and married Mary Anne Banks (1806-1883)They had 6 children; the eldest being Robert so I wonder if he was named after Samuel's father. Samuel died while conducting an auction on the 28 October 1864 at Richmond House, Cappoquin as the balcony that he was standing on collapsed and he was killed.

Researching Fitzgerald and Brady from Ireland.

Hi everyone
I am trying to research the Fitzgerald family of George Street, Limerick, Ireland as they are my g.g.g. grandparents. I do know that Windham McGrath Fitzgerald married Deborah Hely and they had 6 children before he died in Limerick on the 24 Oct 1857. That unfortunately is the only date I have for either of them.
Their daughter Anne married Luke Brady but nothing exciting seems to have happened to them; they lived in Brookeville, Ennis and produced 7 children.
Mary Brady was their 3rd daughter and she went on to marry William Lewis Hunt of 83 George Street, Limerick. The Hunt family is very well documented, thanks to a cousin of mine. It was Mary?s son William George Hunt that came out to South Africa and here we still are.
Thanks for reading this.
