Hi, I am Randy Davis, I have spent the last year tracing my Grandfather George Alan Davis Family History. I have found out that His Father George F Davis died in August 1898 four months after my grandfather was born. My grandfathers mother Martha C Dake Davis is buried at Rowlett Cemetary in Plano Texas. She Died in 1941. George F and his Father Pleasant Abedinego Davis are buried at the Walnut Grove Cemetary, in Meigs County, Decatur Tennessee. I have additional information I intend to post when I have a little more time. I am hoping that through the use of this site and continued reserch I can find further information. I will be taking a vacation this summer to Virginia and plan on stopping in decatur on my return trip. If anyone has any information, they can email me at pooramericanboy@yahoo.com.
