Looking for Charles (Chas) Hammond b: 1852 Canada d:unknown. Married to Helen Wasley (Wesley) 1880 census lived in Fair view, labette, Kansas with Francis and Susan (Thomkins) Wasley (Wesely)

I am looking for any information on the ancestry of William Spurgeon Bennett. He was born in 12 Sep1872 in Scottsville, Allen County, Kentucky and died in Labette County, Kansas 1954. William had two brothers Henry McGruder and Herbert Bennett. He also had a sister (Edna) Pearl Mae Bennett, who died in Kentucky sometime after the 1880 census. I am trying to verify the ancestry of the Bennett brothers. I believe that their mother was Mary M Bridges born 1832 in Barren or Allen County, Kentucky and died unknown. Sometime after 1880, the brothers moved to Greene County, Missouri it is not known if their mother went with them. Henry remained in Missouri and married and then after his wife?s death moved to Porterville, Tulare County, California. William and Herbert moved to Labette, Kansas and there William first married Laura Helen Wasley Hammond, after her death, he married her daughter by her first husband Charles Hammond, Elizabeth Ida Hammond or "Bessy"

There father's name was William Bennett we believe he was born in 1832 in Kentucky but nothing else is known about him, except that he was previously married and abandoned this family between 1870 and 1880. He is on the 1870 census with Mary, Edna and Henry along with another son the name looks like Echert which per family lore he did bring a son into this marriage and when he abandoned the family, he took this son with him.

Mary Bridges is believed to be the daughter of Samuel Bridges and Lucy D Cowden and the niece of Sarah Franklin wife of Henry Tarleton Franklin.
