I'm looking for any DILLON's that came from Channel Islands to New Zealand in the 1800s. My great grandfather Michael Joseph DILLON married in Wellington 1882 and the newspaper in Wellington asked the Dunedin and Sydney Newspapers to pick it up and run in their newspapers. His wife Mary THOMPSON's family were all in the UK. I am aware that there are DILLON's in Dunedin but are unable to find any connections. No one has been able to help, this maybe because they aren't into the family history. Does anyone have any DILLON's in their trees?
