I too would like to point out that it is very easy to follow the wrong
family line.

I thought i had found my grandfathers family, everything fitted or so i thought! After years of searching i have finnaly discovered the REAL Stevens family the one that my grandfather fits into.

We all know its a long hard slog, nights sat at a computer screen long after the rest of the family have gone to bed, trips in the rain to records offices to search through endless documents so its no surprise that we sometimes see what we want to see rather than what we need to continue on the right path. So double check everything and get hold of as many certificates as you can. Happy Hunting

He was born in SOUTHWARK LONDON in 1863. His father was Stephen Stevens (stevins)and mother was Maria.
