Searching for parents of HENRY WILLIAM SCHULZ dob 14.1.1880 in Prussia

Plenty data about him but no data on US Declaration or other US forms. Not sure if city of birth Luiden - maybe Luidenhoffen. Father died between 1880 and 1898. Mother remarried and probably died before 1898. No known siblings. Father and mother did not emigrate to US....HOW DO I FIND THEIR NAMES??

A REAL GENEOLOGICAL CHALLENGE is locating the parents, and birth locale, of HENRY WILLIAM SCHULZ (Heinrich Wilhelm?) DOB 14.1.1880 My brickwall for 20+ years. Plenty of data in US since solo emmigration but no info on parents. His father died after 1880 and before 1898. Mother remarried and probably died before 1898. Siblings doubtful but unknown? Henry worked, probably engineering related, on oceangoing ships to S. America probably out of Hamburg prior to emigration. Chicago city records indicate he arrived 1.9.1898 (maybe 9.1.1898) via Southampton, Eng. He renounced Prussia in US declaration date 10.1.2007 (or 1.10.2007) no parents names but they were from Germany. He died in 1911 so no final papers? Unconfirmed rumor that he jumped ship that he worked on in that docked in Chicago. Couldn't find passenger or crew records. City of Chicago has him as being born in Luiden, Germany but I can't find - there is a Luidenhoffen. Haven't found anything with parents names....in German tradition his grandfather could have been a Heinrich. In the US he married in the Catholic church (to my grandmother a former nun - Catherine JUNG). Without a correct city it has been tough to seek birth records. Finding his parents could open up a LOT. Many Schulz's, many Heinrichs and Wilhelms who have emigrated, or not, but none seem to tie into a pretty solid DOB. Appreciate anything!! Thanks in advance.
