I would love to Know if they had any children as we would be related,and this may help me with this stumbling block i'm up against ....

opal mining at lightning Ridge NSW Australia,she married a Bernhard Marinius Buran....They also lived at Wentworth Falls NSW ,in 1949 and 1954,...... she had step brothers Charles and Edward.....Millie did come and stay with us in NZ when i was around 8yrs old that was 55yrs ago...my dad was
the son of Edward out of wed lock...... his mother Ellen adopted my dad.......hope this missing link will be bridged so i'm able to move further into my past.....Wyn

Looking for my Granddad..Edward was born to Ellen Brown in Dunedin NZ 1890 ... he later took on the Lintern name when mother married a Thomas lintern...... Edward married a Elsie marion Hooker west coast SI.. NZ.1912.
They divorced in 1930...... He lived in Australia as a church man .....''A preacher i think"......I have found a census record on him in the Herbert QLD Australia
in 1925...from there nothing.

Daniel Brown was a sailor on the HMS Pearl 1850's ,moved to New Zealand NZ in the 1860's ..... I do not know where he came from.
Married a Margaret nee Culty? Culety? Collett ? these are some of the spellings on certificates......not sure where the marriage took place....they had twin daughters born 1867 named Ellen and Margaret,at Akaroa New Zealand.
Ellen had a son Edward in 1890....then she married a Thomas Lintern 1901 then became a widow in 1908.
Ellen then married a Robert Peterson in 1909 from Alford Forest south island of NZ...they moved to Tauranga,Tepuke, north island NZ....Then in 1917 her son Edwards fathered a son Edward which Ellen adopted....... It looks like Margaret
Married a Thomas Manley 1889,she died 1879 in Napier NZ...leaving 3 children a son... Thomas B/1891...D/1918 WWI.......Charles B/1892.....Margaret Georgina B/1893.
It looks like Ellen may have adopted Charles her sisters son ....Charles went to both world wars and lived in Sydney Australia,and Died 1948.
